Day 6 Recap

We are back! Thanks for your patience. After spending the night in Albany, Texas, (approximately 3 hours sleep), we started off in the wee hours in darkness and made our way through a string of small Texas towns along Highway 180: Anson, Roby, Snyder, Gail, and Lamesa. Steven came on board on the way to Seminole (and what a great asset he is to the team!), and we made our way to Hobbs, New Mexico for some well needed sleep (but just a bit). Dennis is doing quite well; he is handling temperature ranges from 45 in the mornings to 95 at midday. Not even the rough Texas roads can stop him. The terrain here is unusual; lots sagebrush, and no trees, so the view is 180 degrees. Quite beautiful at sunset. We find Texans to be very friendly and tolerant of us taking up space on their roadways. Lots of waves and thumbs up. Onward!

Dr. Ross you may just get a call to be in the next Ironman movie! The Lord is my strength and my shield, my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped, Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I will praise Him. Psalm 28:7

Dennis, how are you doing with the shift in temperature? Remember our 4 week camping and hiking trip where i had to remind you to either take off some clothes or to put more on?? That was a very long time ago. Training for this trip??
